PPC deposits paused; PPC and WPPC trading resumes

The Peercoin core team has reported a minting issue on the Peercoin network. They have caught it, but a batch of coins was minted before it was fixed.

At the Peercoin team's request, PPC deposits on SpotEx are temporarily disabled until they confirm the network is back to normal.

What this means for you:

• Trading is open. The PPC and WPPC markets were paused for a few hours today as a precaution, and have resumed.
• PPC deposits are paused. Please don't send PPC to SpotEx for now. If PPC arrives anyway, it is not lost: it is held for review and processed once the Peercoin team gives the all-clear.
• PPC withdrawals, and WPPC, are not affected by this.
• Your balances are not affected.

We will post an update here as soon as the Peercoin team confirms, and PPC deposits will reopen then.
